Virginia G. Maniace

December 18, 1928 — August 15, 2003

Miss Virginia G. Maniace of Waltham died Friday, August 15, 2003 at Lahey Clinic, Burlington. She was 74. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (DeStefano) Maniace, she was a lifelong resident of the city. Until her retirement she worked for 35 years for the Star Market Company in Cambridge. She leaves one sister, Edith G. Creonte of Waltham, one brother, Henry R. Maniace of Waltham and many nieces and nephews. She was also a sister of the late Carmela M. 'Cam' DiVecchio, Eleanor J. DeGregorio, Josephine Ricci, Yolanda 'Helen' Salamone, Sarah Tranchita, Anthony and Charles Maniace. The Funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
