Shrewsbury - Stanley R. Holden died peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2026. He was 88.
In addition to his wife of 60 years, Linda E. (Estabrook) Holden he leaves his children, Bonnie L. Gibb (David) of Chelmsford, Betsey E. Desfosse (Don) of Andover and David C. Holden (Jackie) of Holden; his grandchildren, Rebekah Gibb, Alyssa Desfosse, Lindsey Desfosse and John Holden; in-laws Alan Estabrook (Patricia) of Yarmouthport; nieces & nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Stan’s life by gathering for an Evening Wake in The Parlor of First Congregational Church, 19 Church Road, Shrewsbury, on Friday, June 5th from 4 to 7 p.m. His funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, June 6th at 1 p.m. in the church. The Rev. Holly MillerShank will officiate. A collation in Gifford Hall at the church.
