Shirley A. (Bonica) Stevens

Waltham - Mrs. Shirley A. (Bonica) Stevens, of Waltham, died Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at her home. She was 78.

Shirley was born in Waltham on December 17, 1945, the daughter of the late John and Marion (Muise) Bonica. Raised and educated in Waltham, she was a graduate of Waltham High School. She married Carroll J. Stevens (†2009) and the two settled in Waltham to start their family together. Shirley and Carroll lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for twenty-five years before moving back to Waltham almost twenty-five years ago.

Shirley is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Carroll J. Stevens.

She leaves her children, Kimberly A. Tio and her husband, Oscar, and Wanda L. Gomber, all of Fort Lauderdale, Jeffrey S. Stevens of England; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor and remember Shirley's life by gathering for visitation in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham on Wednesday, May 1^st from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. followed by her funeral service at 12:15 p.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
