Sadie (Renna) Romard

Sadie A. Romard, of Waltham, died at home on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. She was 95. 
 
Sadie was born on May 11, 1929, in Quincy a daughter of the late Salvatore and Francesca (Fanara) Renna. A lifelong Waltham resident, at the age of 60, she married the late Peter W. Romard.  Sadie worked at Raytheon Corporation for over 38 years before retiring.

Sadie enjoyed many years of dancing at the French Club and mingling with her many friends.

In addition to her husband, Peter, she was predeceased by her siblings, George, John, William, Gaspar and Peter Renna, Mary Renna, Josephine Donati and Catherine Agresta.

She leaves her niece, Nancy Sarkisian (Renna) and her caregiver, Paula Gorgone whom both cared for Sadie over the years.  She also leaves several nieces & nephews, as well as her step-children, Patricia Petipas, Susan Marie Hill (Anthony), and Marcia Romard and Margaret Gauvin.  

Family and friends will honor and remember Sadie’s life by gathering on Monday, June 17^th in Mount Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect Street, Waltham where her graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. There are no calling hours.
