Ronald A. Bowlby
October 22, 1932 — May 16, 2021
On the morning of May 16th, Ronald A. Bowlby passed away at the age of 88.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jeannette (Steele) Bowlby and their 4 sons; Stephen P. (Kathleen) of New Braunfels, TX, Michael R. (Leslie) of Springfield, VA, Edward J. (Karina) of Burbank, CA and David E. of Waltham; his twin brother, Richard, of Quincy; his sister-in-law, Mary Jane, of Waltham; his grandchildren, Dawn Smith (Clifton), Stacy, Lauren, Kailia, Edenne and Jaelen.
He was predeceased by brothers, Robert and Raymond and granddaughter, Jodie and his parents, Earl and Elizabeth.
Ron served in the Air Force during the Korean War, stationed in Germany as a medical Technician. Retiring from Polaroid after 30 years, he then volunteered in the Stanley Elementary School for 14 years.
Per Ron's wishes, there will be no funeral services, but prayers would be appreciated, as would donations in his name to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Suite 250, Framingham, MA 01701 or the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
