Robert K. Pedersen

Waltham - Retired Waltham Police Officer Robert K. Pedersen died Tuesday, July 27, 2004 in the Epoch Senior Healthcare Center in Weston. He was 74. A lifelong Waltham resident, Mr. Pedersen was a police officer for the City of Waltham for twenty one years, retiring in 1977. He was a member of the Waltham Police Patrolmen’s Association.

Mr. Pedersen was the proprietor of Holiday Homes Real Estate as well as Rolls Royce Limousine Service until his retirement several years ago.

He was the husband of the late Elizabeth ( Hartman ) Pedersen; the son of the late Peter C. and Mary C. (Nielsen) Pedersen and the brother of the late Ralph Pedersen.

He is survived by his children, Linda A. Pedersen of Marshfield, Nancy L. Kelly of Lowell, and Robert K. Pedersen Jr. of Derry, NH; his sister, Helen Dolber of Satellite Beach FL; his brother Richard Pedersen of Needham; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 31, at 10:30 am in the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4-8 pm.
