Robert J. Brophy, Jr.

Robert J. Brophy, Jr., of Waltham, passed away on April 26, 2024. Son of the late Robert J. and M. Ann (Bailey) Brophy, Sr. Beloved husband of Colleen M. (Sullivan) Brophy and proud father of Connor R. S. Brophy. Brother of Kathleen MacCune and her husband, Greg, of Hingham, Mark Brophy and his wife, Ann-Marie, of Waltham, and Matthew Brophy and his wife, Tara, of Beverly. Brother-in-law to the Sullivan, Donohue, and McQuaid families. He is also survived by many adoring nieces and nephews. Bob was a dedicated over 37 year employee of the City of Waltham, Wires Department, electrician. 

Family and friends will honor and remember Bob’s life by gathering to visit in The Joyce Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 1^st from 8:30 to 10 a.m. before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
