Randall J. Fogarty

Waltham – Mr. Randall J. Fogarty, of Waltham, died Monday, December 27, 2021 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 97.

Randy was born in Quincy on November 20, 1924, the son of the late Ambrose and Elizabeth Fogarty. Raised in South Boston, he had worked as a manager at Sarni Cleaners for more than sixty-two years.

A skilled handyman, Randy was everyone's go-to for all tasks at home and beyond. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife, most notably to the island of Maui in Hawaii.

The husband of Elizabeth A. (Dever) Fogarty, he leaves his children, Theresha Brinig of Revere, Raymond Andrews (Kathy) of Nashua, New Hampshire, Eva Grimaldi (Anthony) of Manchester, New Hampshire, Denise Reitano of Hudson and Charlemagne Perron (Michael) of North Attleboro; seventeen grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will honor and remember Randy's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, January 6th from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Friday and burial will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery, Waltham.
