Ralph Kouyoumjian

Mr. Ralph Kouyoumjian, of Maynard, died Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln.  He was 91.

He was born in Waltham on February 8, 1933, a son of the late Puzant and Sophie (Badulian) Kouyoumjian, and was a 1952 graduate of Waltham High School.  After that he served with the United States Army during the Korean War.

Ralph worked as a mechanic for a number of years for the City of Waltham and after that ran a local auto and motorcycle repair shop. A Waltham resident for most of his life, he moved to Maynard in 1996.

The husband of the late Patricia A. (Young), he is survived by his children, Valerie Studley of Charlton and Jason Kouyoumjian of Marlborough and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their families.

Ralph was also the father of the late Neil, Ralph, Jr. and Joseph Kouyoumjian and a brother of the late Vahan and Norike Kouyoumjian, Zepure Morgan, Hasmeg Gulesian and Lillian Young.

Family and friends will honor and remember Ralph's life by gathering for an Evening Wake on Wednesday, December 4th from 4 to 7 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham.  Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday in Mount Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect Street, Waltham.
