Qiaohong Lin

Mr. Qiaohong Lin, of Waltham, Massachusetts, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center after a long illness. He was 84.

 Qiaohong was born on November 4, 1939, in Jieyang County, Guangdong Province, China, a son of the late Chunjin Lin and Juhua Wang. Raised and educated in China he worked as an engineer on marine navigation. He immigrated to the United States in 2008 after retirement.

Qiaohong was the ultimate family man, dedicating his whole life to his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was extremely gentle and kind, always thinking of others and putting others above himself.

He leaves his wife of 56 years, Huijuan Huang; his sons, Nan Lin and his wife Dan Xu of Maryland, and Kai Lin and his wife, Maggie Shen of Massachusetts; his grandchildren Jennifer Lin and Brian Lin. 

Funeral services will be private.
