Pierre Francoeur Glaude, 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 18, 2026, surrounded by the love and memories of a life well lived. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Pierre will be remembered for his deep faith, kind spirit, integrity, and unwavering love for his family. Born on March 16, 1936, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Pierre was the only child of the late Firmin Lanoze and Lucia Glaude. He was raised and educated in Haiti before marrying Marie Ginette Jorace on October 14, 1967.
Known for his warm and friendly nature, Pierre was a man of deep faith in Jesus and his devotion to the Blessed Mother. He was a man of integrity, respect, and humility who always sought to do his best in in everything he undertook. Pierre loved to travel and took great pleasure in exploring the beauty of the world. He enjoyed watching telenovelas and international soccer, being a fan of the Haiti Team. Pierre also had a gift for languages and spoke French, Spanish, German, and English, reflecting his curiosity, determination, and love of learning.
Pierre was a deeply compassionate man with a generous heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He had a unique gift for lighting up any room he entered, bringing warmth, laughter, and joy to those around him.
In addition to his beloved wife of 59 years of marriage, leaving behind his devoted children: Herve Glaude and his wife, Rose, and Linda Glaude; his cherished grandchildren who brought him immense pride and happiness: Ralph Breneville, Josh Breneville, Bejeana Breneville, Vidalynn Glaude and Nash Glaude; and numerous cousins here in the States and Haiti with whom he remained close.
Affectionally known as “To”, “Pa” “Papi”, “Toto”, “Maître Frank”, Pierre was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit touched the lives of many and will forever remain in the hearts of these who knew him.
Family and friends will honor and remember Pierre's life by gathering for an Evening Wake in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, June 26th from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery, Weston.
