Pauline F. McGann

Pauline F. McGann, of Waltham, died Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital surrounded by her family. She was 78.

Pauline was born in Waltham on May 10, 1947, a daughter of the late Paul and Gertrude (Decoster) McGann, and had been a lifelong resident. A graduate of Waltham High School, she worked for years as a sales representative for local electronics manufacturing companies.

Her favorite thing in life was being with her family . . . whether it was cooking a meal for them, playing a game, watching the Pats, or simply just being together. She enjoyed traveling with her family as well, especially to Wells Beach, Maine, Falmouth, Vero Beach, Florida and going on cruises. She enjoyed reading James Patterson novels.

She leaves her brothers and sisters, Thomas McGann (Avalon) of Vero Beach, Florida, Mary Cummings (Charles) of Upton, Edward McGann (Joyce) of Vero Beach and Kathleen Senior (late Paul) of Waltham; her beloved nieces and nephews, Andrea Hughes, Marla McCarthy, Paul and Timothy McGann, Cheryl Sweeney (Thomas), Maureen Cummings, Kellie McGann, Melissa Brenden (Adam) and Matthew Senior and several cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews, especially Emily and Molly Brenden.

Pauline was also a sister of the late Paul McGann, Jr., Irene Hughes (Gerald) and John McGann.

Family and friends will honor and remember Pauline’s life by gathering for her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 19th in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
