Waltham – Mr. Norman P. Collett, of Waltham, died Friday, August 12, 2022 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 60.

Norman was born in Waltham on November 9, 1961, a son of the late Paul and Helen (Hingey) Collett. He had lived in Sherborn, Natick and in Framingham for a number of years before returning to Waltham.

He was a graduate of Waltham Vocational High School and worked for years as a talented auto mechanic.

Norman leaves his brothers and sisters, Paul Collett of Waltham, Cynthia Mungeon of Pembroke, Georgia, Leta Reale of St. Petersburg, Florida, William Collett of Natick and Eugene Collett of Waltham and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was also a brother of the late Jerome, Brian and Helen Collett.

Family and friends will honor and remember Norman's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Sunday, August 21st from 3 to 7 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Monday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
