Nancy J. LeBlanc

August 8, 1957 — April 5, 2024

Waltham

As one of seven children Nancy LeBlanc learned to share from an early age.

During her relatively short life she shared her time, talent, treasure and energy with everyone she met . . . enthusiastically, and with lots of laughter, especially with her beloved nieces and nephews who she treated as her own children.  They will miss her terribly.

She loved parties and never missed a birthday or a graduation . . . she loved to read and go to the beach.  Some of her favorites were Ogunquit and Old Orchard Beach, both in Maine and any tropical destination in the Caribbean.

Nancy J. LeBlanc, of Waltham, passed away peacefully at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln on Friday, April 5, 2024 after suffering a stroke on Saint Patrick’s Day.  She was 66.

She was born in Waltham on August 8, 1957, the third child born to the late Armand J. and Marjorie A. (Langill) LeBlanc, and had been a lifelong resident.  She was a 1975 graduate of Waltham High School.

After that she began working at Watertown Savings Bank for several years before going to work at Nova Biomedical, also in Waltham.  She later went to work as a manager at RTN Federal Credit Union in Waltham.

She leaves her sisters and brothers, Peter E. LeBlanc (Sheila) of Waltham, Jane R. Sheils (James) of Thornton, New Hampshire, Dana P. LeBlanc of Thornton, New Hampshire, Sara A. Horne (Joseph) of Merrimack, New Hampshire, Margot J. Pritchard (Thomas) of Thornton, New Hampshie and Kristen N. Fitzgerald (Douglas) of Milton and many nieces, nephews and their families.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her nephew, Alexander Sheils and her longtime companion, Paul Smith.
