Michael J. Gaudet, Jr.

October 22, 1993 — April 23, 2026

Waltham

Michael J. Gaudet, Jr., of Waltham, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 23, 2026. He was 32 years old.

Michael was a loving and devoted father whose heart belonged to his children. He was also a fiercely loyal son, a protective and proud twin brother, a devoted uncle, and a friend who showed up fully and unapologetically for the people he loved. Strong-willed and deeply passionate, Michael lived life on his own terms, guided by loyalty, love, and an unwavering sense of who he was.

Born and raised in Waltham on October 22, 1993, Michael entered this world inseparable from his twin sister, Michaela, whom he admired greatly and fiercely protected all their lives. Their bond was unbreakable and remained one of the defining relationships of his life.

Michael was a graduate of Waltham High School and worked for many years as a landscaper, a job that reflected both his strong work ethic and his love of being outdoors. He was incredibly social and possessed a special charm that could not be replicated. Michael had a magnetic personality and a sense of humor so unique that family members regularly looked forward to hearing his stories and life updates—because even ordinary moments became unforgettable through the way he told them. His humor, warmth, and storytelling left lasting impressions on everyone who knew him.

Michael was an enthusiastic Boston sports fan, of the Celtics, Patriots, and Red Sox, never missing a chance to cheer on his teams.

Michael leaves behind his beloved children, Caleb Gaudet and Ahlani Gaudet‑Worrell; his mother, Kristie Keane of Waltham; his twin sister, Michaela Smolinsky, and her husband, James, of Framingham; his father, Michael Gaudet, and stepmother, Tracy Kinney, both of Waltham; his step‑sister, Marissa Jurgelewicz of Newton; his cherished nephew and niece, James Jr. and Myla Smolinsky; his grandparents, George and Linda Gaudet of Waltham and Robin Caruso of Marlboro; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him deeply.

Michael’s presence, humor, loyalty, and love leave an enduring legacy in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
