Maureen M. "Mo" Kenney

Maureen M. "Mo" Kenney, of Waltham, died Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham. She was 64.

Mo was born in Waltham on March 17, 1961, a daughter of the late Norman E. and Patricia (MacDonald) Kenney. She was a 1980 graduate of Waltham High School and had been a lifelong resident.

True to her entrepreneurial spirt she ran her own housecleaning and maintenance services company. Mo’s favorite place to be was at the family home in Onset where she could often be found fishing or clamming along the shore.

Mo was also a member of the Watertown Yacht Club for more than twenty-five years.

She leaves her brother, Norman E. Kenney, Jr. and his wife, Debbie, of Newton; her nephews and her niece, Norman E. Kenney, III, Kristin Kenney Martin and Robert J. Kenney; her grand-nephew and niece, Wyatt and Ellie Martin; her beloved aunt, Michelle Barry and her husband, John, of Waltham and a cherished group of close friends who were her life.

Mo was also the sister of the late Judith A. Kenney

Family and friends will honor and remember Mo’s life by gathering for a Morning Wake in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham on Friday, March 13th from 10 to 11 a.m. and will be followed by her Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
