Mary A. Morley, of Newton, died on February 17, 2021 in Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Needham.

Mary was born in Boston on November 6, 1934, the daughter of the late George A. and Mary (Crystal) Morley. She was raised and educated in Newton and before her retirement had worked for many years in the offices of General Motors. She was a devout Catholic and found great solace and peace in attending Mass at Sacred Heart. Her family will remember her for her positive personality and great sense of humor. She enjoyed travelling and one of her favorite destinations was Brazil. She was extremely intelligent and became fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish which helped her in her travels. She was also an animal lover and supported various charitable causes throughout her life.

She was the sister of the late George A. Morley, Jr. Aunt of James G. Morley and great-aunt of Bevin (Morley) Eby and James Adam Morley.

Family and friends will honor Mary's life by gathering for a calling hour on Tuesday, February 23rd from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 1317 Centre St., Newton, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30a.m. Those wishing to view Mary's Funeral Mass may do so via https://my.gather.app/remember/mary-morley on Tuesday at 10:30a.m. Burial will take place at a later date in the family plot at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester, New York.
