Marjorie J. McCaul, of Waltham died Saturday, March 2, 2013, in Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. She was 90.
She was born July 14, 1922 in Waltham, a daughter of the late Robert L. and Margaret J. (Roach) McCaul.
A lifelong Waltham resident, Marjorie earned her Associate Degree from Lasell College and her Bachelor of Arts & Letters degree from Boston University. She later earned her Master's in Education Degree from Boston University and completed post graduate studies at University of Bridgeport.
Marjorie was an art teacher in the Lexington Public School System for many years. Previously, she taught in the Franklin Public Schools.
Marjorie was a volunteer and communicant of the Maristhill Chapel and Sacred Heart Church; Friends of the Waltham Public Library; Mass Audubon Society; Cape Ann Association in Gloucester; founding member of W.G.B.H.; Massachusetts Teachers Association; Retired Mass, Federal and State Employees Association; Lexington Arts & Crafts.
She is predeceased by her brothers, Gerald J. McCaul and Robert L. McCaul Jr. and her niece, Margaret McCaul.
Marjorie leaves her brother, Donald R. McCaul of Waltham; her nephews, Robert L. McCaul III of Keene, New Hampshire, Benjamin McCaul and his wife, Sandra, of Boca Raton, Florida and Edward J. McCaul and his wife, Heather, of Richmond, New Hampshire, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Marjorie's life by gathering to visit at 10 am on Wednesday, March 6th in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rt. 20) Waltham followed by her Funeral Service at 11 am. Burial will be private.
