Waltham- Miss Maria Ann Safina of Waltham died Sunday April 11, 2004 in Newton Wellesley Hospital. She was 84.
Born in Rockland, Maine a daughter of the late Salvatore and Victoria (Terranova) Safina, she was an assembler for BF Goodrich Company for many years. She was a resident of Waltham for twenty five years and was a member of Saint Charles Church, as well as active in charity work at both Saint Charles and Saint Marys in Waltham and enjoyed doing Arts and Crafts.
She was the sister of the late William, Joseph and Salvatore Adamo, Josephine Detorre and Virginia Riggio.
She is survived by her niece Christine Behrikis of Waltham and many other nieces and nephews.
The Funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Church, 51 Hall Street Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
