Linda Micklay

Ms. Linda Micklay, of Waltham died Sunday, June 5, 2022 in her home. She was 75 years old.

Linda was born in Newton on May 23, 1947 and was raised in Watertown. She was a 1965 graduate of Watertown High School where she was a member of the band and was one of the first female members of the school's rifle team.

She was a registered nurse and had worked for years for Beth Israel Lahey at Home Visiting Nurse Association. Linda loved to travel at home and abroad and during a trip to the Far East learned accuapuncture. She was also an accomplished photographer.

She leaves her mother, Barbara J. (Robinson) Micklay, of Waltham; her cousins, and their families.

Linda was also the daughter of the late Donald A. Micklay.

Family and friends will honor and remember Linda's life by gathering in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham, on Tuesday, June 21st when her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown.
