Lawrence Eugene Theodore Gahan, of Waltham, died on September 8, 2026, in Meadow Green Nursing Home in Waltham. He was 84.

Born April 8, 1942, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, he was a son of the late James A. Gahan and Edith (Gallant) Gahan. Larry served in the United States Air Force and later worked in inventory control in the automotive industry.

The husband of the late Marion (Riale) Gahan, he leaves his brothers, Patrick A. Gahan and his wife Anna of Waltham, Peter J. Gahan and his wife Cecile of Winder, Georgia, Michael A. Gahan of Somersworth, New Hampshire, and Russell Gahan and his wife Anne of Fitchburg; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also predeceased by his sisters, Jacqueline P. (Gahan) Green and Marilyn J. Gahan.

Family and friends will honor and remember Larry’s life by gathering for a graveside service at Mount Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect Street, Waltham, on Wednesday, September 16th at 1:00 p.m.
