Dorchester – Kerry Anne O'Reilly, of Dorchester and formerly of Dix Hills, New York died on September 3, 2021 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was 31.

Kerry was born in New Hyde Park, New York on January 12, 1990, the daughter of Brian and Carol (Miles) O'Reilly of Dix Hills, New York. She was raised and educated in Dix Hills and after her graduation from Half Hollow Hills High School East she attended Boston College where she earned her Bachelors and Master of Science in Accounting degrees.

She had most recently been working as an Accounting Manager for HarbourVest Partners in Boston. Kerry enjoyed staying active and was an avid hiker and also enjoyed travelling. She was an animal lover with a special affinity for her dog, Hudson. She enjoyed singing and loved TV, especially Gilmore Girls.

Besides her parents, Brian and Carol, she is survived by her sister, Kathleen O'Reilly of Dix Hills, New York; her fiancé, Eric Kaitz of Dorchester and also leaves aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

Family and friends will honor and remember Kerry's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, September 9th from 4 to 8 p.m. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. in Saint Ignatius Church, 28 Commonwealth Avenue, Chestnut Hill. Burial will be private.
