Kenneth A. Potzka, of Waltham, died at home on Sunday, May 18, 2025 following a period of declining health. He was 69.
Ken was born in Arlington on October 3, 1955, a son of the late Joseph and Bernice (Pavilonis) Potzka and was raised in Lexington. He was a graduate of Lexington High School.
He worked for years at the Arthur J. Hurley Company in Boston, and before that worked for the Polaroid Corporation.
Ken was a fan of all of the professional sports teams in Boston but had a special affection for time spent on the golf course. For more than thirty years he and his buddies looked forward to their weekly match.
He leaves his wife of thirty-six years, Jane M. (Callahan) Potzka; his daughter, Nicole V. Potzka; his sisters and brothers, Charles Potzka (Judy), Janice Sampson (late John), Joseph Potzka, Jr. (Barbara), Linda Batstone (Richard) and Philip Potzka (Josephine) and many nieces, nephews and their families.
Ken was also a brother of the late Marilyn Coleman (late Donald).
Funeral services will be private.
