Katherine M. (Muise) Connors, of Bellingham, formerly of Watertown, died Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. She was 93.
Katherine was born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia on April 9, 1932, a daughter of the late Lester and Dorothy (Smith) Muise, and moved with her family to East Boston when she was a child.
A few years following her marriage to Stephen E. Connors, Jr. the couple moved to Watertown where Katherine delighted in taking great care of her husband and seven children. She and Steve moved to Bellingham in 1991.
A trip to Aruba was a vacation that she looked forward to yearly and every afternoon she could be found watching her favorite soap operas or reading a good book.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Steve, joining her in heaven are her children, Katherine Fortier, Stephen Connors, III, and Jean Danielson and her sisters, Barbara MacDonald and Marie Seavey.
She leaves her children, Karen Lambert (Edward) of Bellingham, Barbara Sheehan (David) of Watertown, Michael Connors (Mary) of Bellingham and Timothy Connors (Carleen) of Ashland; her sons and daughter-in law, Joseph Fourtier, Janet Connors and James Danielson; her sisters, Ruth Botchie and Anna Kjerskgaard; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Katherine's life by gathering for an Evening Wake in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Wednesday, May 14th from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Thursday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Patrick's Church, 212 Main Street, Watertown where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown.
