Joyce C. (Werren) Robinson

Wayland – Joyce C. (Werren) Robinson, of Wayland, formerly of Waltham died Thursday, September 18, 2025 at home after an illness. She was 81.

Joyce was born April 10, 1944 in Waltham, MA to the late Stanley and Loretta (Mailhot) Werren. After graduating, she worked at J.F. & F.I. Robinson Insurance on Moody Street until the time of her retirement. She was married to her soulmate, Frederic Robinson, until his passing in 2019. Joyce and Fred created many happy memories sailing the open seas from their port in Bristol, Rhode Island. They were very active in Waltham Community groups.

She leaves behind many family and friends with whom she shared her fondest memories of traveling. If you ever needed anything, Joyce was there to offer support. One the most endearing qualities about Joyce was her spontaneity. She was always ready for an adventure and her “to go bag” was at the ready.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear – the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, and the moments of quiet reflection in their presence.

Family and friends will honor and remember Joyce‘s life by gathering for a Morning Wake in the Joyce Funeral Home 245 Main St., Waltham on Wednesday, September 24th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. before leaving in procession to Mount Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect Street, Waltham where her Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m.
