Woburn – John J. ‘Jack’ O’Malley, of Woburn, formerly of South Yarmouth, died Sunday, December 18, 2022 in his home. He was 78.

Jack was born in Brighton on December 7, 1944, a son of the late Thaddeus and Bridie (Garrity) O’Malley. Raised in Brighton, he was a 1962 graduate of Saint Columbkille High School. Following high school he served honorably in the United States Marine Corps. Above all he loved the company of his family. He adored his five grandchildren and never missed any opportunity to see them. He also loved taking trips to New Hampshire and the Berkshires with his beloved wife of 49 years, Mary Jane, to see the beautiful New England foliage, while listing to Irish or Country on the radio.
