John W. Murphy

John W. Murphy, originally of Watertown, passed away at home in South Carolina on July 7, 2025, at the age of 82 after a long illness.

He is predeceased by his parents George and Virginia (MacDougall) and his brother Ronald.

He is survived by his loving wife Diane, his daughter Rachel, his grandson Dawson, his sisters Lorain and Michelle, his brother Michael along with numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a life remembrance gathering at The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham, on Sunday, July 27th, from 2 to 5 p.m. His graveside service will take place on Monday morning at 10 a.m. in Ridgelawn Cemetery, 195 Highland Ave., Watertown.
