Waltham – Mr. John T. Defino, of Waltham, died on Sunday August 22, 2021 in Care Dimensions Hospice House, Lincoln. He was 95.
John was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 6, 1926, the son of the late Antonio and Mary (Bonica) Defina. He was raised and educated in Brooklyn and after World War II broke out he enlisted in the United States Navy. Upon his return home he lived in Watertown for a few years before settling in Waltham where he has lived since. Until his retirement he had worked as carpenter for Wellesley College.
He was the husband of the late Leona (Santamaria) Defino and is survived by his daughters, Joani Defino and Donna Manoogian (Gary) all of Waltham.
Funeral services are private.
