Janice M. (Martin) Kirk

Waltham - Mrs. Janice M. (Martin) Kirk, of Waltham, formerly of Cambridge. died at home on Saturday, August 7, 2021. She was 69.

Janice was born in Cambridge on July 4, 1952 and was a daughter of the late George and Mary (Bellissimo) Martin. She was raised in Cambridge and was a graduate of Cambridge Latin High School.

Until her retirement, Janice worked for years as a lab technician at Whitehead Institute, a biomedical research firm in Cambridge.

Shortly after her marriage to Cambridge native Bruce Kirk, the pair moved to Arlington where they raised their family. They moved to Waltham fourteen years ago. Janice will long be remembered by her family for being a terrific wife and mother. She will be missed.

In addition to her husband of fifty-one years, Bruce, she leaves her children, Linda Kirk, Dawn Kirk and her husband, George Johnson, all of Medford and Derek Kirk of Waltham.

Family and friends will honor and remember Janice's life by gathering to visit in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Sunday, August 15th from 2 to 5 p.m.

Burial will be private.
