James A. Wilson

June 25, 1969 — February 2, 2022

Mr. James A. Wilson, of Waltham, died Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was 52.

Jim was born on June 25, 1969, a son of the late Josephine T. (Lewis) Wilson and Thomas B. Wilson who died on December 18, 2021. Raised in Waltham, he graduated from Waltham Vocational High School. He worked for many years in the Seaport, at Boston Ship Repair, specializing in ballast tanks on large ships.

Jim enjoyed the company of friends and family, especially if it involved riding his Harley on one of the many charity rides he loved to participate in. He had a great group of friends that would affectionately call him 'Squid'. He was also reliable, and kept to his word when it came to helping out a friend.

Jim leaves his son, James Auditore and James' mother, Michelle; and his brother and sister, Sharon M. Wilson and Sean T. Wilson, both of Waltham.

Family and friends will honor and remember Jim and Tom's lives by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, February 24th from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Friday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where their Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
