Heqing Ouyang

Mr. Heqing Ouyang died Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at his home after a period of declining health. He was 93.

Heqing was born on September 20, 1932, in Lianyun, Hunan, China, a son of Jiu-sheng Ouyang and Pu-er. He worked as a manager in construction before retiring and immigrating to the United States to help raise his grandchildren. He approached every day with humility and kindness, and always had a smile to share. He was especially proud of his youngest daughter's achievements in America and his vegetable garden.

In addition to his beloved wife of 62 years, Donge Hu, Heqing leaves behind 3 children, Zhong Ouyang, Bing Ouyang, and Li Ouyang, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Heqing will be private.
