Henry Charles Olsen

Waltham – Henry C. ‘Hank’ Olsen Jr. of Waltham, formerly of Newton and South Boston died Wednesday December 17, 2003 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 79. Born in South Boston, Hank worked for the Raytheon Company for more than 50 years. He first started as a mechanical engineer but then later worked as an accountant before retiring in 1991. Mr. Olsen served his country during World War II in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a graduate of Bentley College and had been a member of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Olsen is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cecelia A. (Panella) Olsen, of Waltham and one brother, Gerald F. Olsen of Nashua, NH. He was the brother of the late John L. Olsen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be offered Monday December 29th at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, 519 Main Street, Waltham. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at a later date. Visiting hours are omitted.
