Harold M. “Buddy” Strout

Harold M. “Buddy” Strout, 87, of Waltham, died Friday, September 4, 2026 at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington.

He leaves his son, Wayne M. Strout of Hopkinton; his daughter, Jane C. Strout of Boston; his grandchildren, Amanda Rose Strout of Boston, Justin Strout, of Denver, and Erik Strout of Seattle, Washington; his sisters, Dorothy Robinson of Plymouth and Theresa McNamara of Plymouth; and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Patricia Murphy and the late Mary Armada.

Family and friends will honor and remember Buddy’s life by gathering in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham, on Saturday, September 19th, where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
