Gladys C. (LeBlanc) Boudreau

Gladys C. (LeBlanc) Boudreau died at home on Monday, July 11, 2022 with her family gathered at her side. She was 85.

Gladys was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, on May 17, 1937 to the late Eugene and Delphine (Richard) LeBlanc. She married Roland Boudreau on September 2, 1957 in Saint Thomas Church in Canada and the pair moved to Waltham in 1961 where they would raise their family.

Gladys was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and took wonderful care of her home and family. She and Roland enjoyed travelling and exploring new places and especially enjoyed visiting Australia and New Zealand, a vacation taken to celebrate Roland's retirement.

Wife of the late Roland Boudreau († October 24, 2015) she leaves children, Louis Boudreau and his wife, Dora, of Waltham, Bernard Boudreau and his wife, Joanne of Newton, Janice Boudreau (Bob Malone) of Waltham, Jill Lilley and her husband, Tom, of North Reading and Nancy McCarthy of Fort Worth, Texas; her grandchildren, Bobby and his wife Nicole, Renée, Kevin, Morgan and Ryan Boudreau, Sarah, Connor and Abigail Lilley and Jack and Liam McCarthy; her great-grandchildren, Mia and Ella Boudreau; sister of Donald LeBlanc (Claire), of Oxford, Frank LeBlanc (Tricia) of Florida, Betty Ann Boucher (Paul) of Shediac, N.B. Canada and Paul LeBlanc (Patricia Findlen) of Manchester, New Hampshire, Reggie LeBlanc and his wife, Donna, of Freemont, New Hampshire and Doug LeBlanc and his wife, Janice, of Billerica; sister-in-law of Raymond, Leonard, Alfred and Eugene Boudreau and Rachel Hebert, all of New Brunswick and the late Maurice Boudreau and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Gladys' life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, August 19th from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
