These early relationships provided a solid foundation and a continued presence throughout his life. He was a standout athlete in basketball and continued his education and athletic career at The College of the Holy Cross, graduating in 1963 with a degree in Economics. The early childhood group of friends expanded to include new Crusader classmates. The three decker home on Dorrance Street became a frequent meeting location for meals after class, games and weekend events.
