Lincoln - Evelyn S. Turner died unexpectedly at home on Friday, February 6, 2026. She was 80. 

Evelyn was born on June 7, 1945 in Boston a daughter of the late Jessie T. and Edith (Mikelson) Turner. Raised in Dorchester she graduated from Girls Latin High School and earned an Associate degree from Roxbury Community College. A longtime resident of Foxborough she lived in Lincoln almost 30 years. Entrepreneurial and driven to work hard Evelyn owned and operated Heritage Recycling for many years.

She will be lovingly remembered as an extroverted woman with a large and loving personality. She was passionate about both politics and education.

She leaves her daughter, Kimberly Santa Maria of Salem; her grandchildren, Gina R. Ciccone and Alexis D. Santa Maria. She was predeceased by her brothers, David Paul Turner and Alan Turner.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Evelyn’s life on Tuesday, February 17th in Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon where her Graveside Service will be held at 1:45 p.m. There are no calling hours.
