Mrs. Evelyn C. Groves of Melrose, formerly of Waltham, died Sunday, July 12, 2009 in the Epoch Nursing Center in Melrose. Mrs. Groves was born in Braintree, Vermont, on March 19, 1907, and had been a resident of Waltham for over seventy five years. Mrs. Groves was the wife of the late Chesley Groves. Family and friends will honor and remember Mrs. Groves' life by gathering for a graveside service at 11 am on Tuesday, July 14, in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
