Elena M. (DiSilva) Dankens, of Waltham, died Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Meadow Green Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a brief period of declining health. She was 98.
She was the wife of the late Albert P. Dankens.
Family and friends will honor and remember Elena's life by gathering for an Evening Wake in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Tuesday, October 6th from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
