Dora Zullo

Waltham – Mrs. Dora (Fasano) Zullo, of Waltham, died peacefully in her home on Friday, January 7, 2022. She was 88.

Dora was born in Miranda, Italy on November 1, 1933, a daughter of the late Antonio and Anna (Tortola) Fasano. She immigrated to the United States in June of 1972 and became a resident of Waltham.

She was the beloved wife of the late Michele Zullo and is survived by her daughter, Maria C. Alonge of Waltham; her grandchildren, Liana Alonge and Lorenzo Alonge (Pinamelissa); her great-grandchildren, Michael, Valentina and Gabriella Alonge; her siblings, Domenico 'Tony' Fasano of Waltham and Lina Borrelli of Watertown and many nieces, nephews and their families.

She was also the grandmother of the late Remo Alonge.

Family and friends will honor and remember Dora's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, January 14th from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington Street, Newton where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
