David J. Dunbar

David James Dunbar, of Waltham, died at his home on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. He was 74.

David leaves his children, Julie Creagh of Bedford and Michael Dunbar of Acton; his brother, Lee Dunbar; and his grandchildren Danielle, Ryan, Anthony, Michael Jr., and Joseph. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his former wife, Carol (Gullotti) Dunbar.

He was predeceased by his brother, John “Jack” Dunbar of New Hampshire, and his sister, Shannon Boylen.

Family and friends will honor and remember David’s life by gathering for an Evening Wake from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Burial will be private.
