Colin J. King

Waltham – Mr. Colin J. King, of Waltham, died peacefully on December 25, 2021 in Waterview Lodge of Ashland. He was 72.

Colin was born in Waltham on June 11, 1949, the son of the late Florence E. (Smith) and George F. King, Sr. After graduating from St. Mary's High School he proudly served in the Army for six years during the Vietnam War. Upon his discharge he worked at the former Fernald School in Waltham. He loved to follow the Boston sports teams and enjoyed taking the train into the Garden to watch the Celtics during their heyday.

He is survived by his brother, George F. King, Jr. of Waltham.

Family and friends will honor and remember Colin's life by gathering in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, December 30th at 8 a.m. before leaving in procession to Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow.
