Charles E. Blunt

Mr. Charles E. Blunt of Clearwater, Florida, formerly of Westwood, died Tuesday, September 12, 2006 in the Mease Dunedin Hospital in Dunedin, Florida. He was 83. Born in Waltham, Mr. Blunt had lived in Westwood for many years before moving to Florida twenty years ago. Mr. Blunt was a banker for Bay State Federal in Brookline until his retirement. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, serving with the United States Navy. He was the son of the late Forrest L. and Jennie G. (Greenlaw) Blunt. Mr. Blunt is survived by his niece, Beverly Gleason of Wakefield and his companion, Gladys Goodspeed of Dunedin, Florida. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Mount Feake Cemetery, 230 Prospect Street, Waltham.
