Catherine Irene Jones

Waltham – Mrs. Catherine 'Irene' (Leonard) Jones of Waltham died Monday, September 8, 2003 in MetroWest Medical Center in Natick. She was 87. A lifelong Waltham resident, Mrs. Jones had moved to Wayland one month ago. She was a graduate of Saint Mary’s High School. Mrs. Jones was the wife of the late Wilfred N. Jones, the mother of the late Daniel N. Jones, the daughter of the late Martin and Catherine (Kindregan) Leonard; and the sister of the late Margaret Hann, Mary Godley, Agnes Bisson, and Thomas Leonard. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara A. Caskie of Francestown NH; her son, Thomas L. Jones of Falmouth; her brother, John Leonard of Chelmsford; her sister, Louise Tower of Waltham; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Friday in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visitation will be on Friday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 in the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham.
