Bruce C. Macdonald

Bruce Chandler Macdonald, 75, of Haverhill died on Friday, March 27, 2026.

Raised in Lexington, he was the middle son of Duncan Macdonald and Marjorie (Conklin) Macdonald. Bruce attended the Cambridge School of Weston. 

A talented musician, Bruce enjoyed playing guitar and the peace of being outdoors. Family vacations spent at Lake Nubanusit in Hancock, New Hampshire and on Dollar Island in Lakeville, Maine reinforced his love of nature.

Survivors include his brothers Duncan (Michele) Macdonald of Southborough and Evan Macdonald of Port St. Lucie, Florida. He will be missed by his nieces, Mallory and Leah and nephews Eric and Kyle.

A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, June 13th from 1 to 3 p. m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham.
