Bernice M O'Connell

Bernice M. O’Connell, of Cambridge, formally of Watertown, died Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. She was 82.

Bernice was born in Oxford, Mississippi on January 2, 1943, a daughter of the late Thomas P. and Mary L. (Welch) O’Connell. She had lived in Watertown for most of her life before moving to Cambridge and worked for more than 30 years as an administrative assistant for the Polaroid Corporation.

She leaves her sister, Barbara O’Connell of Cambridge along with several cousins and their families.

Funeral services were private.
