Shrewsbury - Bernice E. (Dexter) Forrister, died peacefully on Monday, August 15, 2026, at the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence in Worcester, with her family at her side. She was 93.
Family and friends will honor and remember Bernice’s life by gathering for an Evening Wake in The Parlor of First Congregational Church, 19 Church Road on Wednesday, September 2nd from 4 to 7 p.m. Her funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, Sept. 3rd at 11 a.m. in the church. The Rev. Karen Dorshimer Chaplin will officiate. A collation will follow in Gifford Hall at the church. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury is private.
