Barbara E. Aucion

Waltham – Mrs. Barbara E. (Howell) Aucoin, of Waltham, died Thursday, January 8, 2009 at UMass Memorial Marlborough Hospital. She was 85.

Born in Boston, Mrs. Aucoin had lived in Waltham for many years. She was the wife of the late Richard W. Aucoin and the sister of the late Dorothy Luce.

Mrs. Aucoin is survived by her children, Linda B. Lazaro and her husband, Bernie, of Hudson, John W. Aucoin of Waltham, and Richard A. Aucoin and his wife, Greta, of Rock Hill, South Carolina; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Barbara's funeral service on Monday at 10:30 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
