Alice M. Marqus

Waltham - Mrs. Alice M. (LeBlanc) Marqus, of Waltham, died Thursday, January 28, 2010 in the Wilmington Health Care Center. She was 90. A daughter of the late Donat and Alida (Braconnier) LeBlanc, she was born in Memramcook, New Brunswick, on January 18, 1920. Alice was the wife of the late Paul R. Marqus and the sister of the late Victoria Mercier, Doris O'Brien, Rita Tarrone, Emil, Ernest, Arthur, Alphonse, Edgar, and Gerald LeBlanc. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Fetters of Falmouth and many nieces and nephews including Leigh Ann Bell and her husband, Richard, of Reading. Family and friends will honor and remember Alice's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
